i would like to know why my charts are different. they are the same exact stock, only the first chart snapshot was around 5pm eastern time, and the lower (second) chart was taken at 7:25 eastern. the level of the 2:40 doji is different, one shows it occurred around .50 and the other around .65. also, the 3:25 doji, one is red and one is green. pretty strange

  1. I noticed that when I was comparing your DNDN trading to mine. I am not sure what mine said live.

I know some data providers have different live and historical data, I think it has to do with time stamps. Do you re-set your computer clock every morning? If you don't, that may contribute to a discrepancy.

BTW - good job today. At least you didn't lose any money =) I had a tough time of it. The morning was mediocre, and nothing worked this afternoon. Still trying to figure out how to avoid this kind of a day. Maybe it is just one of those days...

  2. i didn't lose any money, but i have yet had a really decent day like you. less risk, less reward on my end. i am going to take a look at the computer clock. it is interesting you say that because some of my charts turn over on the 05,10,15,20...and sometimes the charts turn over at 06,11,16,21...i am going to take a look at that. i always thought the charts were synced to the trading platforms clock, which i thought was synced to the brokerage house, but maybe it is to my computer.

i do not like this action the past few days. i can't get anything going.
