no good
shorting retracement. felt like it was a long, flipped the position, but got chopped out.
buying retracement, no good.
i was trying to buy a breakout, but it didn't happen.
shorting retracement, would have worked well if i didn't get out. but i probably would have been ripped an new one in the afternoon.
buying volume spike down.
wow
i think the explanation is below somewhere.
wow...the worst day trading for me so far. hopefully, it will be the only bad one. i broke many rules and ended up screwing myself royally. my mistake was accidentally shorting too much FCX around 11:25. i was planning on shorting 100 shares every .20 cents up until the .50 center area. well, i must have hit one of my tier keys and wound up shorting 600 @ .10. so i looked at my screen and realized i had way too much size. i tried to hold, but it popped up in to the .30's and i got out only to watch it drop 1.50. i was actually going to short it into the move down but my buddy told me i was nuts. most likely, i would have got shaken out anyway, but boy was my head screwed up. then i went crazy trying to buy it to long the pops. i don't even know. i was able to scalp some profit and then i started shorting FCX again on the 13:55 bar as it went into resistance. only this time it didn't drop after the pop it ripped up 3 or 4 bucks. mutha f*ck$r. i didn't flip the position because i thought it was another market maker game just picking it up to drop it again. i can't believe they can rip it to new lows and then rip it to new highs, holy shit. it is going to be a long weekend of reflection. if i don't have discipline, i can't be trading.
