pretty close to perfect entry, the exit, eh maybe not that good, but getting better

first entry was because of hammer, put on the trade, but didn't realize how far away the stop was, about .40, so i closed it. second entry, perfect, but i chickened out again. unreal. that TNA is just so jumpy it makes me nervous. i need to stop guessing this action.

the first line is where i would have shorted at, then each succesive line is cover and either buy or sell in the opposite direction of the before trade

the only halfway decent trade i felt i missed today. one of my screeners isn't working and its annoying

first i longed it thinking i would get a bounce with the market. it wasn't budging. then i though, why am i longing the weakest stock. i then decided to short it but closed it quickly because i said what are you doing relax. anyway, i would have gotten topped out on the ridiculous little stop squeeze, and then it hammered down. interesting to see it base, take out the stops and then continue on in the trend. i'm sure that pissed alot of the shorts off right there.

ha, ESV. ripping down on the scanner. i thought it had some more legs to go down. i never held any pain. i covered for a quick .18 because god only knew where it was headed. i switched to the 1 minute chart but even that had stops that were too far away for my liking.

i think this was a trade that i put on, and then said to myself, what is the reason for putting this trade on, there was none. no defining candle, so i closed it.

overall pretty good day. obviously, lots of money left on the table. i'm working my hardest to stop exiting these positions so soon.

i also am going to try to sit at the screens for most of the day. i feel like when i get up to take a break, and then come back, i can't get back into the flow. for instance, the only decent signals i caught on the q's were the two hammer type candles between 12 and 130. i came back to the market after that and there really wasn't any candle screaming at me to trade it. i think i just need to see and check every 5 minutes to see what is happening. again today, i almost traded a candle before it closed, reminded myself to wait, and the candle went from a green doji to a down red bar in 1 minute. pretty funny the tricks they play.

good luck tomorrow

  1. Dude - I call that VXX a perfect play, getting out right before all the long wicks. Don't think a guy can get much better than that.

    Trade well!
